Parish Ministry Petals

Have you heard about the Petal process? Or seen this image?

You can go to our "What are the Petals?" Section and learn of this beautiful process that has been developed by Fr. Brandon to help create a community that works together and communicates with one another.

Through this process all members of our Parish Community have a voice and are able to communicate with a member from all 46 ministries that are here at St. Anne's.

"For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us exercise them." - Romans 14:4-6

BMA 2012 Appeal

The 2012 Bishop's Ministry Appeal will be the weekends of February 11-12 and 18-19, 2012.
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of our Diocese. We were created in 1962 to serve the expanding Catholic population in the Northern San Joaquin Valley. In honor of our anniversary year, we hope all parishioners will consider a gift to the 2012 Bishop’s Ministry Appeal. This can be a one-time gift or paid in 8 monthly installments. The goal of the 2012 Bishop’s Ministry Appeal is $2,100,000. In order to meet this goal, our pastors will be asking for everyone’s participation. Gifts of any size are greatly appreciated.
Much has changed since our diocese was first established, but the devotion to our Catholic faith remains as strong as ever. Thank you for prayerfully considering a generous gift to support the good works and ministries of the Church in the Diocese. 100% of contributions for the 2012 Bishop’s Ministry Appeal go to the Appeal and not to any other diocesan expenses.

Chapel Revitalization Progress

Through the giving of many generous parishioners, we have been able to give our chapel make-over. Here we will be posting some pictures of the progress. The NEW chapel is due to open January 1st, 2012. It's not too late to give! If you had been hoping to be part of this project contact the Parish Office and you ask how you can become a part of the Chapel Revitalization.

 CommUNITY Mass & Youth Night

On Sunday, November 20th we celebrated our 1st CommUNITY/CommUNIDAD Mass and Youth Night. It was a wonderful day that really brought our Parish together, Spanish and English speaking alike. Join us for our next one on December 18 at 6:00 PM!

A summary of Fr. Brandon's Homily that evening:
"Today we celebrate the feast of Christ the King, and, as Pope Benedict states, the Kingdom that Christ comes to inaugurate is a Kingdom of unity and peace. Our gathering here tonight at this first ever CommUNITY, ComUNIDAD Mass, is our humble way of stepping forward in the direction of the unified Kingdom that our Lord so desires. In knowing one another, the other is no longer the stranger that we can vilify, but a brother, a sister, and the image of God that we are called, in today's Gospel, to welcome clothe and feed."

 Blessing of the Animals
October 4, 2011

St. Francis of Assisi was a wonderful model of how to see God in all things and he was also known for his great love of animals. Every year, the children of St. Anne's School are invited to bring their animals to be blessed on St. Francis' Feast day, October 4th. Here are some pictures of this years blessing with Fr. Bill. St. Francis, pray for us!
